Lying For Jesus: Something We See More of Every Day, The Ends Justify The Means?
I have noticed a trend that seems to be gaining more and more momentum on some Uber Right sites, namely what can only be called “Lying for Jesus.”
I’ve seen videos on youtube where stars admit to selling their soul to the devil in order to become successful and famous. I’ve also heard about musicians channeling spirits to get inspiration for their music and to help them perform. Michael Jackson for one. The way Beyonce talks about her alter ego Sasha Fierce definitely sounds like she’s being possessed by a spirit that’s performing through her.
Firstly the poster always comes right out in the first sentence with some very damaging/extraordinary claims about someone(s) without any attribution or citations. Then they claim that nameless others support their views by saying that they have “heard” this before, again with no source or attribution. Then often (like in this case) they finally finish up with a “well who can be sure, but doesn’t it sound like this other person I also don’t like is possessed by Demons the way I describe them?” Digestif as the last course.
Firstly this person is lying, secondly this person is still lying, Michael Jackson wtf?, Yep still lying…
Oh Yeah?
Well I heard that some insecure Christians who have extreme doubts about the validity of the faith they are trying to cling to feel the need to randomly make up lies about other people and then post them on the internet in order to briefly get a “holier than thou rush” along with the “attaboys” of their gullible peers. :p
